After careful restoration and extension the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (GNAM) presents itself in all its beauty, surely destined to become a real pride in the vast panorama of Rome's museums.
Starting from October 2016, the GNAM houses a beautiful exhibition entitled Time is Out of Joint which will last until March 15, 2018. To celebrate the new spaces an online contest was initiated that will involve all visitors: the Museum Beauty Contest which will elect Miss and Mister National Gallery among all portraits of the museum.
The permanent collection of artworks at the GNAM displays artists such as Van Gogh, Cézanne, De Nittis, Monet, Klimt, Guttuso, Miró, Modigliani, Morandi, Vedova, Burri just to name a few.
The National Gallery of Modern Art can be reached by a beautiful walk of about half an hour from our Hotel Priscilla, across the stunning Park of Villa Borghese. Alternatively We suggest you take the bus n. 490 that follows the same route in about 10 minutes.
